I'm a visual artist and independent filmmaker currently expanding my practice in art therapy.
I have primarily worked as a Director of Photography on narrative films in the United Kingdom. I also collaborate with my partner, writer and director Laurence McManus on visual essays as well as the medium-length film The Wind and the Whimpering; we are currently in pre-production of a feature-length project BABA; that we are developing as a collective Without a Head.

I'm interested in ways filmmaking can serve as a vessel for personal development as well as research. My personal work often focuses on autoethnography, the relationship with camera as well as the visual image; that has been published in the international journal of surveillance studies Surveillance & Society. Currently I have been expanding my practice by community projects and using filmmaking in the process of art therapy. I tend to integrate the ethos of analytical psychology in my work as well as cross disciplinary approaches borrowing from expressive arts and theatre.
